We’re proud to have a dedicated team of seven staff members who are deeply connected to our mission and values. Each person brings unique strengths, perspectives, and care to the work we do. Below, you’ll find bios for team members who have chosen to share a public profile.

Lynn (they/she) – Co-Executive Director
With over a decade of experience in public health and community-based nonprofits, Lynn has focused on fostering sustainable growth and building capacity at values-driven organizations. In their role at BAF, they have worked to strengthen organizational capacity, nurture communities of care, and deepen their understanding of intersectional and reproductive justice. As a queer, mixed-race, second-generation American, they are particularly focused on how immigration, language, and healthcare access intersect.

Maggie (she/her) – Director of Operations
Maggie first joined AFM in 2018 as a Volunteer Case Manager. Today, as AFMs Director of Operations, she works closely with staff and external partners to ensure things work smoothly behind the scenes. As a lifelong Baltimorean with a decade of nonprofit program management, Maggie is delighted to bring her love for building and perfecting systems to her home fund.

Margaret (she/her) – Development Manager
Margaret began her role as Development Manager in 2024 and brings over six years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector, spanning areas such as arts management, political campaign operations, and abortion access. She holds a Master’s degree in Gender Studies & Public Policy from George Washington University and conducted her graduate research on trends in institutional giving to abortion funds. Margaret is a lifetime resident of the DMV and now proudly calls Baltimore home.

Olivia (she/her) – Client Services Manager
Olivia is a Maryland native who’s passionate about centering compassionate, comprehensive client care and community building to dismantle systemic inequality. She has spent her entire professional career in the nonprofit sector, from providing case management and victim advocacy to survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking, to assisting with eviction diversion initiative program design and delivery at the D.C. Superior Courts. Olivia completed her Master’s in forensic and legal psychology, focusing her research on Safe Harbor legislation and destigmatizing victim-offender intersectionality.

Porsha (she/they) – Co-Executive Director
Porsha is a mission-driven leader with over a decade of experience in direct service and team leadership. Born in Baltimore and proud to call it home again, she brings expertise in program development, fostering an inclusive culture, and strategic planning. As a mixed-race queer person, Porsha is deeply committed to dismantling barriers that impact marginalized communities. Her work focuses on ensuring individuals have complete autonomy over their bodies and choices, and that no one is forced to struggle for survival.
