How to get help, step by step
Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment with a Clinic
You can call us without an appointment, but you need one scheduled to receive support. We can assist you with finding a clinic or making an appointment.
Step 2: Understand the Support We Provide
We provide many kinds of support, such as funding for your appointment, travel, and lodging. Think about if you need funding, logistical support, or both.
Step 3: Call Now, We’ll Follow Up Soon
We’ll return your voicemail within 24–48 hours of your appointment, Monday–Friday. We’ll have a 5–20 minute phone conversation to better understand your needs. We will identify ourselves as the Abortion Fund of Maryland and may text you unless you ask us not to in your voicemail.
