Need help with an abortion?

If you live in or have an appointment in Maryland, we may be able to help. To receive support, you’ll need to have an appointment scheduled. If you need help finding a clinic or making an appointment, our team can provide a referral.

We provide financial and logistical support for people seeking abortion care across all 23 counties and Baltimore City.

What to Include in Your Voicemail

Leaving a clear message helps us process your request faster.

Please share:

• Your first and last name
• A phone number, and if we can text you
• Your estimated gestational age or the date of your last period
• Your zip code or Maryland county
• Your appointment date and clinic name
• The total cost and amount you need help with (if you need funding)
• Any logistical support needs (ride, hotel, etc.)

A member of our Client Services team will return your call within 24–48 hours of your appointment, Monday–Friday. We will identify ourselves as the Maryland Fund and may text you unless you ask us not to in your voicemail.

Logistical Support

In addition to financial assistance, AFM offers logistical support to help you get to your appointment and manage related needs.

We may be able to assist with:

• Transportation (rides, bus fare, gas, flights, etc.)
• Lodging (safe overnight stays when needed)
• Other needs, such as childcare or meals during hotel stays
